DESCRIPTION:\nCelebrate all the music that makes Georgia amazing with a spe
 cial double headliner evening on the Vox Stage at the Town Green. Live mus
 ic kicks off at 7:00 PM with REMakes\, bringing the unmistakable sound and
  spirit of R.E.M. to life with the songs that helped define a generation.\
 n\nLater in the evening\, Macon Music Revue takes the Vox Stage with a pow
 erful celebration of the city that shaped Georgia’s musical legacy. A se
 lf-described “preservation band\,” Macon Music Revue honors the artist
 s and songs associated with its namesake city\, digging deep into the cata
 logs of hometown heroes like Little Richard and Otis Redding\, while also 
 exploring the legendary output of Capricorn Records.\n\nBetween 1969 and 1
 979\, Capricorn Records produced nine platinum and 17 gold albums from art
 ists including The Allman Brothers Band\, The Marshall Tucker Band\, the C
 harlie Daniels Band\, Wet Willie\, Sea Level\, Swamp Dogg\, Elvin Bishop\,
  and more. The Revue also puts its own spin on songs by James Brown\, whos
 e career began in Macon\, along with Atlanta Rhythm Section and other Geor
 gia greats. With more than 140 songs and counting\, Macon Music Revue dive
 s deep into Macon’s rich and influential musical inheritance.\n\nBring y
 our lawn chairs\, grab dinner or drinks from nearby Town Center restaurant
 s\, and enjoy a night of hometown pride\, legendary songs\, and community 
 fun under the stars in Peachtree Corners.\n\nFree to attend and perfect fo

  Center Parking Deck or on-street within the Town Center. Additional parki

 hat tarps and blankets are prohibited and will be folded up if left behind
