Summer Concert Series - REMakes & Macon Music Review

Celebrate all the music that makes Georgia amazing with a special double headliner evening on the Vox Stage at the Town Green. Live music kicks off at 7:00 PM with REMakes, bringing the unmistakable sound and spirit of R.E.M. to life with the songs that helped define a generation.

Later in the evening, Macon Music Revue takes the Vox Stage with a powerful celebration of the city that shaped Georgia’s musical legacy. A self-described “preservation band,” Macon Music Revue honors the artists and songs associated with its namesake city, digging deep into the catalogs of hometown heroes like Little Richard and Otis Redding, while also exploring the legendary output of Capricorn Records.

Between 1969 and 1979, Capricorn Records produced nine platinum and 17 gold albums from artists including The Allman Brothers Band, The Marshall Tucker Band, the Charlie Daniels Band, Wet Willie, Sea Level, Swamp Dogg, Elvin Bishop, and more. The Revue also puts its own spin on songs by James Brown, whose career began in Macon, along with Atlanta Rhythm Section and other Georgia greats. With more than 140 songs and counting, Macon Music Revue dives deep into Macon’s rich and influential musical inheritance.

Park and Walk: Free parking is available in the Town Center Parking Deck or on-street within the Town Center. Additional parking is available off Davinci Court (3720 Davinci Ct, 3715 Davinci Ct, or 2745 Davinci Ct).

Ride Share: Drop off and pick up location is The Piedmont Bank, 5100 Peachtree Parkway.

PROHIBITED ITEMS: For the safety and convenience of all guests, please note the following prohibited items on the Town Green:

• Large or Rolling Coolers
• Tables larger than 2 feet
• Tarps, Blankets, Inflatable Furniture

Attendees are welcome to start setting up items after 8 am on the day of the concert. Please note that tarps and blankets are prohibited and will be folded up if left behind to make room for as many attendees as possible. Guests are expected to behave respectfully and in accordance with Town Green policy, state, and local laws. Any guest acting in a manner deemed unsafe can be subject to eviction.
