Alex Urban, Executive Director of the TOUR Championship in Atlanta, Ga will present one of the topics he is passionate about - Golf as the Ultimate Business Tool in 2025.
With stars like Scottie Scheffler and Rory Mcllroy leading the game, golf is regaining ground as a powerful medium for relationship building in an increasingly digital age. Alex elaborates on how professionals and companies can use the golf space to authentically build networks, close deals and create lasting impressions.
Alex joined the PGA TOUR organization in 2013 and now serves as the Executive Director of the TOUR Championship in Atlanta, Ga.
He received a Bachelor of Arts from Clemson University in Political Science, and a Master of Arts from the University of Georgia in Public Relations. Equipped with a background in communications and marketing, Alex utilizes his passion for storytelling to manage relationships with the tournament’s sponsors, generate charitable donations for local nonprofits and grow the event in all areas.
In addition to his work with the tournament, Alex serves as a board member of First Tee. Alex and his wife, Jamie, are happy to call Atlanta home and are eager to grow the PGA Tour season finale event’s future.
We will be awarding a check to one of our outstanding local charities, The Peachtree Corners Festival, who are directly impacting our community.
